This image is an attempt to recreate the feel and power of the Audi R8 in 3D. Max was used for modeling and texturing, using mainly the editable poly and basic modeling tools. Some of the details in areas like the headlights and rims got quite heavy. The final scene was over 8 million polys and took 15 hours to render. This is an exterior render we did for Sky Las Vegas, the only residential condos on the Las Vegas strip. The client was Nespra/Milbank Real Estate. On the left you see the actual building under construction, while on the right you see the render. We tried to make this as lifelike as possible. Did we succeed? This is an interior done in the classical style. Dark wood furniture, patterned fabric, and richly engraved walls.
